Is the Credit Crunch Affecting Holiday Bookings?
Gloucester, UK (PRWEB) October 28, 2008 -- The credit crunch does not seem to have affected holiday makers taking value breaks to Europe, in fact they have risen. River cruising breaks have steadily increased in popularity over the last few months, with no let up in October and November. More people are now requesting to book a river cruise, hoping to get away from the doom and gloom of the British weather and politics. Travelling throughout Switzerland and the Rhine are the most requested destinations.
River cruising sales are on the increase, with the average river cruise holiday now only costing £699 for two people to Europe. One tour operator, Phoenix Holidays, who caters for both the UK and European river cruise market, has commissioned extra British chartered vessels to cope with the sudden demand for late deals for their winter breaks.
